Upper Pylon 2 – 1 x 09: The Passenger
This week on Upper Pylon 2, we are joined by our first UK guest, Simon (aka funkysi1701) as we take a look at the Bashir-centric “mystery” episode, “The Passenger.”
When a former prisioner, Rao Vantika (a name you’ll hear COUNTLESS times throughout the episode) is killed, his pursuer believes that the late murderer is not really dead, and continues her investigation at DS9 while an important shipment is scheduled to arrive. Will Vantika reappear, and if so, who will he appear as? Well, if you’ve seen the opening of the episode, it really isn’t all that hard to deduce. But join the UP2 crew as we dissect this little caper.

This week on Upper Pylon 2, Sarah (aka Sareki) and yours truly (Admiral Hansen) rejoin the Upper Pylon 2 crew to discuss the first Jadzia-centric episode of the series, “Dax”.
Jadzia is put on trial to determine if she can be held liable for a murder that was committed when the symbiont was carried by its previous host, Curzon. It’s a tale of mystery, complete with philosophical ponderings and the revelation of a torrid love affair. All this, complete with creepy PAJ action to start us off! Will Jadzia be held liable for the accusations lobbied at Curzon? But more importantly, will she be acquitted in the Upper Pylon 2 Court of Law?

Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan Movie Review – The Battle Bridge
As Adm. James T. Kirk (William Shatner) and Capt. Spock (Leonard Nimoy) monitor trainees at Starfleet Academy, another vessel from the United Federation of Planets is about to try out the planet-creating Genesis Device in a seemingly deserted portion of space. In the process, two of Kirk’s officers are captured by Khan (Ricardo Montalban), an enemy Kirk thought he’d never see again. Once more, Kirk takes the Enterprise’s helm, where he meets Khan’s ship in an intergalactic showdown.
