  1. I would describe Garek as the sardonicly charming urbane rogue type. He reminds me of the Prince Kheldar character in David Edding’s Belgariad & Mallorean book series. As for Bashir, I pretty much wanted to bitch slap him throughout the series. The impulse lessened over time but never completely went away. I thought it had and then I saw him as Prince Doran in Game of Thrones and it came right back.
