The Delta Quadrant (A Commentary Track Stars Special!) – 1×15 – Jetrel
The scientist who developed a weapon that killed 300,000 of Neelix’s people in a war fifteen years ago boardsVoyager, claiming that Neelix is terminally ill.
The Voyager Bunch recorded a review of Jetrel, howover, there was a snafu while recording and the episode was lost. But sweeping in to come our aid are fellow podcasters Mike and Max of Commentary Track Stars. They graciously opted to review of Jetrel for TDQ so we would not have to review Jetrel once again (as doing so would be hard to do as we would have to attempt recreate our conversations and debates). In return The Voyager Bunch will appear on an episode of Commentary Track Stars – Commentary Track Star Babies. In this guesting appearence we shall provide a running commentary for any one of the numerous Star Trek episodes. Be on the look out for that soon.

The Delta Quadrant *Bonus* Star Trek: Generations Retrospective

In the late 23rd century, it’s the beginning of a new era as the Starship Enterprise-B is launched without James T. Kirk in command, but, the captain is along for the maiden voyage when a distress call from a group of El-Aurian refugees trapped in a mysterious energy ribbon presses the ill-prepared Enterprise into a deadly rescue mission that seemingly claims the life of Kirk. Seventy-eight years later, one of the El-Aurian survivors leads the crew of theEnterprise-D into a deadly confrontation with the Duras sisters as he plots to re-enter the paradise of the ribbon that nearly destroyed him years prior.

The crew of Voyager discover a planet that has the technology to send them more than halfway along their journey home. However, the planet’s inhabitants are more than reluctant to share this technology with Voyager’s crew, as doing so would violate one of the society’s own prime directives. The Enterprise discovers a ship that crashed on a Dyson sphere more than seventy-five years prior with a single survivor suspended in the transporter buffer: Captain Montgomery Scott. This episode was actually recorded quite a while ago and wasn’t intended to be a full on review of our off shoot review series but more of a mini retrospective. Sadly this was recorded before J.D. joined the podcast so please forgive his absence. Also, please forgive Matt and I as we are not completely on point in regard to the review as we didn’t have much prep time prior to recording.
