Alright ladies and gentlemen and all multi-gender species here is issue 2 of the
Wilderness’ fantasy Trek (it was originally supposed to just be JD but Fez lacks
my creative writing ability – he might need to take a few points in it next time he
levels up… sorry that was a Dungeons and Dragons reference)

Premise:
Set in the same timeline as my last series, this show is also dealing with the
aftermath of the destruction of the Romulan empire.
In this timeline Admiral Elizabeth Shelby has re-instated a long forgotten arm
of Starfleet known as MACO’s (Military Assault Command Operations) and put
together a special assault team and commissioned a special assault vessel to
transport the team in and out of trouble spots.
Ship:
USS Avenger
An updated version of the Defiant class. An operational crew of approximately 20
and carries a MACO unit of 24.
Has a cloaking device on loan from the Klingon
Crew:
Captain Worf
Who better for an assignment such as this?
First Officer/CONN officer: Lt.CMDR Thirishar Ch’thane (played by whoever)
Andorian First Officer, clashes with various MACO personnel.
Slightly different style Andorian – son of an ambassador, tried to be a warrior,
more gifted pilot. Still trying to prove himself to everyone.
Chief Engineer: Lt Molly O’Brien (played by Hana Hatae)
A grown up Molly O’Brien, providing a link to the past and allowing the Miles
guest spots. Gifted pilot, strained relationship with her father since her mother
died.
Tactical Officer/MACO Leader: Colonel Ro Laren (Played by Michelle Forbes)
Reinstated to Starfleet post dominion war by Shelby herself, and assigned to
the MACOS – Ro had been used for a lot of covert guerrilla missions until being
assigned to the Avenger.
Medical officer: LMH – Long term Medical Hologram (played by whoever)
Due to space and resource constraints, the crew is tended by a Long Term
Medical Hologram. (And possibly two holographic assistants) The only downside
is due to power and systemic requirements the doctor can’t function while the
ship is under cloak.
NOT played by Alexander Siddig – LMH mark 6 or whatever.
Guest/Recurring characters:
Adm. Elizabeth Shelby: Director of branch of Starfleet the Avengers crew
answers to.
Miles O’Brien: Father of Ensign O’Brien. Widower, very much lost his way in the
universe after Keiko died. Seen as almost a Kor style character.
Various Junior members of the MACO squad
