Ten Forward:Episode 32: Book Club Destiny Book III or You’re not the Picard I use to know!

This week it’s book club time and Sina & Michael are joined by Literary Treks Matt Rushing as we discuss the third and final book in the Destiny Trilogy: Lost Souls by David Mack.

We discuss an email from David Mack, the author himself. We look at how the 24th century will never be the same again after this story line.

Our Thoughts: This story was epic. Spanning so many charcters, stories and finally we see the end of the Borg (at least on the written word). We felt that David Mack has created something special and has woven so many threads into one amazing story. We had some wonderful character development and now new stories can begin without worrying about loose ends.

The Final Verdict: A must read for all Star Trek fans.

I live in Houston, Texas, and while I don’t own or ride a horse, I do occasionally say “Y’all” and even “All Y’all.” I am married and have one daughter. I started watching Trek regularly with TNG and got absolutely hooked after watching “Yesterday’s Enterprise.” Trek has been a big part of my life ever since then and I am happy to share my love for it with all y’all.
