Star Trek new TV series: Bryan Fuller still up for project

Bryan Fuller

Speaking at the UK launch of his new TV show Hannibal, Bryan Fuller revealed that he is still interested in the idea of bringing Star Trek back to the small screen as a TV series.

“I would love to if I had the opportunity. Star Trek is under JJ Abrams at the moment. He’s doing a wonderful job and I can’t wait for Into Darkness. So I think he’s got that territory covered.”

“[But] if they offered it to me [on TV] I’d jump on the trolley and start ringing the bell.”

Fuller previously worked as a writer on Star Trek: Voyager and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
