Paramount has revealed the first look at the Star Trek area of its upcoming theme park in Spain.
The Paramount Park Murcia is expected to open at the end of 2015 and will be located at Alhama de Murcia on the Mediterranean coast.
The studio has released visuals of the Plaza Futura section of the park, based on the world of Star Trek.
The area will be a large futuristic square boasting a Starfleet Spain recruiting center, a 3D simulator ride and a Warp Speed Coaster featuring an underground section and several loops.
The Paramount Park Murcia theme park will also feature areas based on several other big screen properties.
The Adventure City area of the park will have areas and attractions based on Grease, The Godfather and Mission Impossible.
This includes a Mission Impossible 3D ride, bumper cars based on Grease and the Osteria Corleone restaurant from The Godfather for visitors to dine in.
Rango’s West will be an area devoted to rides and experiences based on animated film Rango, the Enchanted Forest section will bring Tim Burton’s Sleepy Hollow to life while there will also be a land based on the Spiderwick Chronicles.
Visitors will also be able to visit Paramount Live, a large auditorium hosting shows and musicals inspired by Paramount movies.
