Favourite Trek Series: I like them all but I would have to say Next Generation is my favourite but Classic Trek and DS9 are close behind. I feel the creators lost there way a bit with Voyager which ultimately harmed the success of Enterprise.
Favourite Captain: Jean Luc Picard almost the perfect role model for leadership
Favourite Ship: Classic Series Enterprise, to quote Scotty No bloody A, B C or D (or E, J or NX01)
Favourite Episode: Too many to choose from, Best of Both Worlds, Devil in the Dark, Duet, are a few of my favourites.
Favourite non-regular character: Weyoun/Shran (its the same actor so I think I’m allowed two) I just love some of Weyouns lines especially when speaking with Dukat
About me: I have been a trekkie as long as I can remember. It was my first love. One of my earliest memories was creating the bridge of the Classic Star Trek out of a shoebox. But I think I only really became a fan when the Next Generation started showing on BBC2. This year I got married to Laura which has given me a great excuse to rewatch Star Trek, I even managed to get my wife to wear a Starfleet uniform for our wedding. I started listening to the trekmate podcasts after going to Star Trek London and listening to some of the debates. In the real world I am an IT Manager in York, which often makes me feel like Chief O’Brien, trying to keep the company from exploding!
