The Delta Quadrant – 6×01 – Equinox P2

Datalore, TNG S1 E13 Review, The Battle Bridge
The only Soong type android, known to be in existence, is joined by another that turned out to be his long lost brother. So are these two boys the only Soong androids really in existence. If you have ever seen TNG, you know the answer already, if not, then we won’t be the spoiler…
Today James and Lou have some company. The podcasters, Shawn and Brigitte Vanderloo, of the Rusted Robot join us to discuss Datalore and what we think of it and much more as well as listener feedback. Obviously Data”Lore” is a play on words. Who was created first, who is smarter than the other and who is more devious. Only Wesley Crusher knows for sure.

The Big Goodbye – TNG S1 E12 Review, The Battle Bridge
The Big Goodbye. That is what you get when two fully grown men have to say goodbye. One worrying about whether his wife and children will be there while the other one is leaving him to meet new people. The Big Goodbye. It’s what Lou and Dr. James are discussing tonight. Augh gee klaxon richnoc necnoc jasuwa….or something like that. It’s the first real holodeck episode and wouldn’t you know it is already putting the crew in danger. Should it have gone past a few more drawing boards before it was built? Find out what we think..

Some day I hope when I die I get to go to Haven. Haven looks like a remarkable place, very lovely, peaceful in fact. Too bad we never actually go there. We’re in orbit and so is someone else that no one wants to be there, but we never visit the planet.
Deanna has a huge surprise that no Betazoid could have seen coming.
Today James and Lou discuss Haven and what we think of it and much more as well as listener feedback.

Will the Voyager crew get the Doc back? Does Harry actually ACHIEVE something this week? Will all of the TDQ crew respond to this episode positively? The answers may surprise you, so listen to find out, and as always, check out the forums and let us know what you thought!

Ferengis, Ferengis everywhere… Ok only three. Captain Picard may or may not be a murderer. The Ferengi are presenting Picard with his old ship the Stargazer. Why? Because he is the hero of Maxia. Of course, if you think it’s that simple, your all alone in the vacuum of space. There is much more to the story, so check it out.
