Favourite Star Trek Series: TOS right before TNG, mostly because I don’t know much of the others yet. I’m more into the movies and love all of them… but please don’t ask me which one is my favourite, for your own safety.

Favourite Captain: I know that Kirk might seem the obvious choice here, with maybe Picard being the next, but no. I thought about taking Sulu for a while, but for that we didn’t see him as a Captain long enough (but he’s still great!). No, my favourite Captain (aside from Sulu) is Spock. Not only does he have a lot of funny moments in the original series already, but by the time he is Captain, he’s also learned that logic is not everything and humans also sometimes have good ideas, which makes him even more awesome.

Favourite Ship: The Enterprise-A. I just love the Constitution-Class design, and after the refit it looks even better. OK, I’m not sure if I like her better than the first Enterprise in the movies (the old movies, not the new ones), but it’s one of those two.

Favourite Episode: That’s a tough one. Having problems even to choose my favourite movie, this even seems a little bit more impossible. But if I really had to choose one, it might be “The Enterprise Incident”.

Favourite Non-Regular Character: Another hard question. Christine Chapel, if she counts as a non-regular character. Her parts are great, even more so if you know that she loves Spock.

About Me: I’m living in Bavaria, Germany, and in my last year of school. I got my love for Star Trek thanks to my big brother, who introduced me to science-fiction when I was younger and he had to watch me in the evenings. So I grew up watching ENT and TNG with my brother (although I sadly don’t remember much of that anymore) and later on sneaking out of bed in the middle of the night, just to catch the rerun of the episode of the evening.
