Ten Forward 55: Reflections & Star Trek Continues – Vic Mignogna Interview

star-trek-continues-first-episodeWelcome to this special edition of Ten Forward. To celebrate the launch of the new web based Star Trek Continues I am really pleased to introduce to the show Vic Mignogna who plays Captain James T. Kirk and is also the Executive Producer / Director.

The premise of the series is based on the original 5-year voyage. The original series ended three years into the journey. Vic and his team are starting this new series right where the original left off.

Vic tells us about the series, his career and what we can expect from this exciting new edition to TOS.

Before that though Sina and Michael talk about their recent experiences. Michael talks about attending the Sir Patrick Stewart talk in Oxford, his weekend at LFCC and we get to here the worst Zombie impression ever! Sina tells us about her special weekend but you will have to listen to know more about that….

Look out for some bloopers including an English lesson for Michael….

I live in Houston, Texas, and while I don’t own or ride a horse, I do occasionally say “Y’all” and even “All Y’all.” I am married and have one daughter. I started watching Trek regularly with TNG and got absolutely hooked after watching “Yesterday’s Enterprise.” Trek has been a big part of my life ever since then and I am happy to share my love for it with all y’all.

Interesting interview. Glad to hear there’s more Star Trek Continues on the way. I really felt like I was watching an Original Star Trek Episode. Vic understands Star Trek better than anybody out there right now. Wish he was in charge of the movies.
