Favourite Ship: The Akira Class ships. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched the cube battle scene from First Contact on VHS back in the day. I always fixated on that beauty.
Favourite Trek Series:My favorite has been and always will be The Next Generation. It was my first window into this universe and my first Trek love.

Farourite Episode:DS9’s “The Visitor”. This is where great science fiction can do what no other genre can. It tells a truly fantastical story, yet is incredibly human and relatable. Also, it is the episode most likely to make me cry.

Farourite Non-Regular character:Yelgrun. Two words: Iggy Pop.

About me: I live with my amazing wife in a truly special and unique city, Buffalo NY. I’m a working cancer researcher and a skeptic, and I have Star Trek to credit (or blame) for it. I know science fiction helped to spark my interest in real science at a very early age. I can’t wait for Star Trek to come back to TV and do the same for another generation. Finally, I like to think of myself as a high functioning nerd. Yes, I watch and read SciFi nonstop, but love hockey, American football and motorsports.
