Star Trek writer/producers Ronald D. Moore and Ira Steven Behr both joined Star Trek: The Next Generation in it’s third season. Moore was on staff through it’s entire run, while Behr left at the end of the third season. They eventually both joined Deep Space Nine, where Behr took over the role of executive producer when Michael Piller left the show to create Voyager.
