Age: 35Favourite Captain: It’s very close between Picard,Archer and Sisko. For years it was definitely Picard as I grew up watching TNG and was never too much of a TOS fan. Years later I loved watching ‘Enterprise’ and seeing all the challenge’s Archer had to overcome as one of the first Starfleet Captains. But if I have to choose (which I do-obviously-lol) these days I’d have to say Sisko is my favourite Captain,like so many DS9 characters I love the progression in the character from season 1 to 7. In-fact I enjoyed the character so much my second child was named after him (Sisko) when he was born just over a year ago. I can also confirm that once you name your child after a starfleet captain it makes you enjoy that captain even more than you did before.
Favourite Ship: As much as I love the ‘Defiant’. It has to be the ‘Enterprise-D’ from TNG. It doesn’t get much cooler than ‘The D’ for me.
Farourite Episode: Oh wow! Well it’s got to be something off DS9 as that is my favourite series. There are so many excellent episodes but I guess one of my absolute favourites would have to be ‘Far Beyond the Stars’ I love the writing behind it. It’s also cool seeing some of the characters out of make-up for the first time on the show and I think Avery Brooks performance is great in this episode.
Favourite Non-Regular Character: There’s so many great non-regulars to choose from(just from DS9 alone) but I think I’v got to say ‘Nog’. I love how much he evolves between season 1-7 I really love his story and I am always curious about where is character will go after season 7
About me: I’v been happily married for 7 years and am a proud father of 2 boys. I’v been a big fan of Rock and Heavy Metal music, Pro-Wrestling,Comic’s and Video Games all from a very young age. I grew up watching TNG on the BBC but I didn’t really get in to the other series until my adult life. I’m trying hard to get into TOS at the moment,I’v always enjoyed the films but have never quite been able to get into the series as much as I’d like. I’m a big fan of Trek Mate and it’s various other pod’s and I’m honoured to have been asked to be part of it.
