Our Thoughts: The second part starts at high warp speed. We get to see the Romulan Empire with some great details on the planet, the senate but we were not too keen on the flying cereal bowls. We see Kirk the diplomat which is nice while Spock has some interesting interactions with Sarek.Again this story flows well and concludes well. We both thought that this had some small resemblances to “Balance of Terror”. Again we felt that the art was not strong with likenesses but the rest of the story was drawn well.

The Final Verdict: Overall, this original story stands out well and shows that they do not need to go back to the original series that often.

I live in Houston, Texas, and while I don’t own or ride a horse, I do occasionally say “Y’all” and even “All Y’all.” I am married and have one daughter. I started watching Trek regularly with TNG and got absolutely hooked after watching “Yesterday’s Enterprise.” Trek has been a big part of my life ever since then and I am happy to share my love for it with all y’all.
