Star Trek V: The Final Frontier, Movie Review, The Battle Bridge

When a renegade Vulcan captures the Federation, Klingon, and Romulan ambassadors on Nimbus III, “the planet of galactic peace”, it can only mean one thing: the vacation is over; Captain James T. Kirk and the crew of the new Starship Enterprise-A are pressed back into service to come to the rescue. But, when the Vulcan has a prior association with Spock, it allows him to seize control of the Enterprise and put it on course for the center of the galaxy where he and his followers believe they find the place from which creation sprung. I Borg, TNG S5 E23 Review, The Battle Bridge

The discovery of an injured adolescent Borg brings to the surface hard feelings for both Captain Picard and Guinan for what the Borg Collective had done to them. Matters are complicated when plans to use the young Borg to destroy his people are halted when it is discovered that the Borg has become an individual. Today James and Lou discuss (I Borg) and what we think of it, with tonight’s guest host Shawn Vanderloo. I have to add something here. This was a lively spirited debate that was incredibly respectful and informative. I loved the way we all had our points of view and can still see how the others thought. I think you’ll really like this one. Battle Bridge Season 6 guest host spots filling up very fast.

Hi guys.  The Battle Bridge has been taking guest host spots for season 6.  The list is filling up very fast, so I strongly suggest you take a look at what is available and send an email request to LouTrekShow@gmail.com and let me know what you want to talk about. One change I am making for season 6 is we are going to allow two guests per episode, if it is requested.  The only problem is the logistics of when everyone is available.  We generally record between Tuesday and Friday of a record week at approx 3pm Eastern, 2pm Central, 8pm UK.  While we are willing to work around schedules, doing so in season 5 resulted in a very lengthy gap between postings.  I would like to cut that down.  While we will not be rigid to only record at a certain time or day, we might have to roll on anyway if scheduling is too difficult. So visit http://www.trekmate.org.uk/tbbs2/ and take a look at what is available.  Some spots already have two people, most have only 1 and a few are empty.  Choose quick and email LouTrekShow@gmail.com with your request.  We will get with you about a week in advance of...
